And in that big Forest, let us take you through the story of the little Tiger. One day, the Mother Tiger was feeding her little Tiger. But the little one was not happy by the taste of his food. Little Tiger - “Aiiy... This tastes sour. Didn’t you cook it properly”. The Little Tiger gets angry and throws away the plate of food from his Mother. Immediately, the little one understands his mistake and gives a sorry look towards his Mother. The Mother has a very sad look on her face. Little Tiger - “I am sorry Mom”. Mom, disappointed, shakes her head. The Father Tiger, who was in his room, was watching this all the while. In the evening, the little Tiger was playing with his younger brother. Brother Tiger - “I will hide... You come and find me” Little Tiger - “No... I am your elder brother. I will hide. You find me” Brother Tiger - “Please” Little Tiger - “No means No” Brother Tiger - “It is always you who hide. Let me do it this time”. The Little Tiger gets angry on his Brother. Little Tiger - “DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND”. The Little Tiger punches the face of his brother and the brother falls down in pain. Straightaway, the little one understands his mistake and helps his brother get up. Little Tiger - “Hoo... I am sorry brother. Please get up”. The Father Tiger had observed this one too. He decides to teach his short tempered son a lesson. Next day, the Father takes his son to the fence in their garden. He gives him a hammer and a pack of nails. Father Tiger - “Dear Son... You get annoyed very easily and I know you are sorry for it too. So here is a solution. From now on wards, every time you get angry, you must hammer a nail into the fence”. Though a little confused, the little Tiger agrees to this condition. The very first day, the little one drives 15 nails into the fence and he has a very tired look towards the end of the day. The second day, he drives 12 nails into the fence. Slowly, the little one realises that it is easier to control his temper than to drive the nails into the fence. And finally, the day arrived when he had to drive absolutely no nail at all. Excited, the little one runs to his Father. Little Tiger - “Father! You want to hear something? Today, for the whole day, I never got angry and I didn’t have to hammer any nail into the fence”. The Father smiles. Father Tiger - “Good. Now for each day that you hold your temper, remove one nail each from the fence”. The little one agrees and he starts removing a nail everyday where he didn’t get angry. Very soon, there were no nails remaining in the fence. The little one informs the good news to his Father and the Father accompanies him to the fence. Father Tiger - “You have done really well my dear Son. I am proud of you”. The little Tiger smiles happily. Father Tiger - “But, do you see that holes in the fence. Do you think this fence will be the same again?” Little Tiger looks at the fence and gives a worried look. Father Tiger - “My dear Son.. It is the same case with anger. When you do things out of anger, it leaves a mark like this on the other person. That can never be erased. So, never let anger get the better of you”. The little Tiger lowers his head down, understanding his mistake. Father Tiger - “Don’t worry. Whatever happened has happened. You have now learned to control yourself. That is enough. The Forest will forgive you”. The little one smiles... The Father pats his head.
