Hope you love it! #AnimalsStories The forest was very quiet and gloomy, there was no voice to be heard, for all the voices of the animals were in the palace of King Lion, there had been no rainfall in the forest for two years and it was already going into the third year. The animals were worried and had started panicking due to the supposed lack of water which in turn led to a lack of food. It was so bad that they had started fighting themselves for the little amount of food that remained.
“What do you want me to do?” King Lion asked. “We want you to provide us with water.” The animals all shouted. “I am not the sky that provides you with water neither is I the earth that provides you with rivers and seas.” King Lion said. "King Lion, I guess you should consult wise old Tortoise, he always has an answer to all of this." Monkey spoke up. "Where is Tortoise?" King Lion asked. "He's on his way here, King, he can't walk fast you know." This statement brought laughter to the animals. "I heard that Squirrel, I suppose I should hit you on the head with my stick." Tortoise said finally arriving at the palace. "No, I'm good, I didn't mean what I said the other time." Squirrel quickly pleaded. "It is good that you have finally arrived Tortoise, we need your help." King Lion said. "Why would you need my help, King? You should have just commanded me." Tortoise said. "You know I can't, I may be the king but we all know that you're the wisest." King Lion said. "Tortoise, how do we get water to the forest? The rain has refused to fall." King Lion pleaded. "King Lion, the only thing to do is to send someone to the sky to call down the rain." "And who can we send to call down the rain?" King Lion asked again. "The person will have to choose for himself, for he will have to be willing to do it." Tortoise said. King Lion didn't know who to pick, so he asked the animals, "who will go to the heavens to call down rain?" No one answered. King Lion called Peacock, he refused to go. He called on Flamingo, Flamingo refused to go. King Lion pleaded with Turkey, Ostrich, and Cuckoo, but they all refused on going into the heavens, for they had heard that those that go into the heavens never return. King Lion was out of options till he heard a voice call out from the back, "I'll go to the heavens, King Lion, and I'll bring back rain for the forest." Every animal in the forest shouted for joy, as Vulture stepped forward to ask Tortoise what he had to do. All you have to do is to fly to the heavens and call rain." Tortoise said. Vulture didn't waste any time as he spread his wings to fly towards the heaven. Vulture got to the heavens and called rain, but as the rain came down something super happened, Vulture lost his hair. He became bald on his head totally, as he flew back he was scared of what people would say about him, so he flew into the dark parts of the forest and was never seen again. The rain came down and everyone was happy, but no one saw Vulture again in the forest. Till today every time the rain falls, all the animals still wait for the brave Vulture to come back.
